Little Squigglers was founded by myself, Amanda Wigzell, in June 2011.
I trained in Primary Education at Kingston University and have been teaching in Suffolk schools for 11 years, specialising in Literacy, Art and Design Technology.
I have 2 young children and have always enjoyed taking them to various different clubs, including yoga, gymnastics and music groups. However, I was disappointed in the lack of opportunities for them to get creative and messy, so that’s how Little Squigglers was born! I am excited to be using all my knowledge of art in education to provide an opportunity for pre-schoolers (and their parents!) to learn, play, get messy, and most importantly- have fun!
I also love having the opportunity to still do all the fun parts of teaching by working with older children in our after-school and holiday clubs.
I hold a Red Cross certificate of First Aid for babies and children and a current enhanced CRB check.
