I’m Jo and I am bringing Little Squigglers to South Essex.
I graduated from the University of Greenwich in 1999 with a BEd in Primary Education Studies. I am a teacher and work part-time in a school in Southend, Essex as the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. I have always been passionate about encouraging the creativeness of children as I feel it helps to develop so many other skills.
I am a mum of two young children and am always interested in finding things for them (and me!) to do. I have attended groups with some messy play and arts/crafts activities but what I love about Little Squigglers is that it really encourages the parents/carers to get involved with the activities. The sessions are a chance for parents/carers and their child(ren) to get really creative (and messy!) and take home some wonderful works of art to show off – with the added bonus of no clearing up!!!
“Little Squigglers South Essex endeavours to create an environment where young children and their parents/carers are able to investigate a variety of exciting and multi-sensory experiences. Children will be given a multitude of opportunities to develop their creative minds and natural curiosity.”
